About Tallahassee and Useful Links

Tallahassee is the capital of Florida. It is situated in the Panhandle of Florida, south the border to Georgia.

The city is full of beautiful trees, specially gorgeous live oak trees, sometimes covered with Spanish mosses.  Rolling hills throughout, the city has many  beautiful canopied roads.  The culture is southern charm and the people are every friendly.  There are couple of universities and a community college.  For a small  city, it has two hospitals. It is very friendly for young professionals, families, and retirees. There is plenty of entertainment, plenty of outdoor  recreation for  all ages with numerous parks for walking, biking, sporting activities such as baseball, tennis, swimming.

The city holds a springtime  festival and a the fall  festival of lights.

Florida State University and the Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University provide spirited football games.  If you get tired of the city, you can always escape to one of the beautiful beaches in about an hour and half drive.
